Holliday FFA Judging Teams Advance to State

Congratulations to the Holliday FFA Horse Judging team. They won the Area IV competition yesterday at Tarleton State University. They competed against 50 teams throughout the area in all classifications from 1A to 5A. Team members are Katie Swanson, Paige Dodson, Emily Scarborough, and Aerial Valentine who was the 4th high individual out of 200 students. They advanced to the state competition on April 21 at Texas Tech University, Great Job and Good Luck at State!
The FFA Ag. Mechanics placed 3rd in Area 4 and qualified for the state contest on May 4 at Sam Houston State University, team members are Camryn Schlegel, Michael Bryant, Cody Strickland, and Colton Dedmon. Good Luck at State also!
The FFA Land Judging team also competed at the contest yesterday and placed 3rd in district. Team members are Josh Harrell, Tim Harrell, Cheyenne Loyd, and Mason Ellis.
The FFA Livestock team placed 4th in district yesterday and the team members were Mitch Lundy,Tanner Gordy, Chris Beck and Dillan Tyler. Way to go guys, good job!
