Grading Policy

Grading Policy for 6th Grade Reading

Grades – All daily grades, homework grades, and classwork will be counted as one single grade in the grade book.  Tests will be counted as double grades in the grade book.

Reading Corrections – Students are allowed to make corrections on all work, including tests, that fall below 70%.  However, students are not allowed to correct late or incomplete work. They are given one chance to make corrections, but if the corrections still contain incorrect answers, the original grade will not be changed.  All corrections are due 5 school days after it is passed back to students.

Incomplete Work – If a student turns in an assignment that is not completed, he/she will receive -20 points off of the assignment and it will be graded as-is.  Incomplete assignments are not allowed to be corrected.
