Kindergarten RoundUp is postponed due to school closure. 

We plan to reschedule the event for this summer when we have more information.

Incoming Kindergarteners: 

Holliday Elementary is hosting our Kindergarten Round Up on Thursday, April 23^rd from 8:15 – 11:00.  

Kindergarten is for children who will be 5 years of age on or before September 1, 2020.

Kindergarten Round Up: Parents and students should check into the office at 8:15am and will be directed to the kindergarten classrooms. Then, parents will attend a meeting in the cafeteria at 8:30am. Students will stay for classroom activities and may be picked up at 11am at the front office.

 You will need to bring with you:

1. Copy of state issued birth certificate (not the hospital copy); 
2. Copy of Social Security card;
3. Copy of Immunization record;
4. In district students- proof of residency (only acceptable forms are: lease agreement, closing statement, or electric bill with your name and physical address);
5. Out of District students- completed transfer application if you do not reside in HISD. 
6. Copy of your driver's license.

The kindergarten pre-enrollment form must be completed and turned in to the office by April 9^th. You can email it to Mrs. Stubblefield at makenzie.stubblefield@hollidayisd.net or fax it to 586-0538. Forms may also be picked up in the office.

Incoming Pre-Schoolers: 

Holliday Elementary offers a variety of Pre-School programs during the school year.

• Holliday Elementary Pre-Kindergarten is for children who are 4 years old, as of September 1, 2020, and are either Limited English Proficient, educationally disadvantaged (qualifies for free/reduced lunch program), has a parent currently serving in the military, is or every has been in foster care, or is homeless.
• Holliday Elementary Early Childhood Special Education program is for children who are 3 or 4 years old, as of September 1, 2020, and have a qualifying disability.
• Holliday 3-year-old Head Start is for children who are 3 years old, as of September 1, 2020, who qualify by family income. (This HeadStart program also has classes for younger children. For more information on younger children, please contact 583-4033.)

Please fill out and return the pre-school pre-enrollment form so we can prepare for you. You can email it to Mrs. Stubblefield at makenzie.stubblefield@hollidayisd.net or fax it to 586-0538. Forms may also be picked up in the office. Incoming Pre-School students do not attend Kindergarten Round Up.
