Congratulations to Mrs. Weatherread and the HISD Cafeteria Staff for their recognition as "Best of the Bunch" in the 2018 Texas Farm Fresh Challenge. While 20% of the schools in Texas participated, only a few achieved the highest level and HISD was one of them. The HISD cafeteria committed to using Texas grown products whenever available and also sponsored new Texas produce items and worked with the Holliday FFA to provide information on Texas Agriculture. It was a great way to encourage students to eat healthier and promote local and Texas agriculture. Great job!
