HOLLIDAY ISD

Holliday Elementary uses a variety of assessments, including the following, which meet state requirements. 

Pre-K: CLI Engage CIRCLE Progress Monitoring System

This assessment is conducted one-on-one at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year. It measures progress in the areas of vocabulary, phonological awareness, and math. 

Kindergarten: CLI Engage TX-KEA (Texas Kindergarten Entry Assessment)

TX-KEA is administered three times per year. It measures progress in the areas of vocabulary, reading development, math, etc. 

1^st and 2^nd Grade: TPRI Early Reading Assessment

TPRI is administered one-on-one at the beginning, middle, and end of the school year for all students in 1^st and 2^nd Grades. The TPRI is designed to help teachers montior progress in reading development and to identify students with reading difficulty. The assessment provides information on phonemic awareness, graphophonemic knowledge, reading accuracy, reading fluency, listening comprehension, and reading comprehension. 

3^rd Grade – 5^th Grade: State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness STAAR

Test Dates 2023: 

Thursday, April 11, 2024 – 3^rd, 4^th  &  5^th  (Reading-Language Arts) 

Wednesday, April 17, 2024 – 5^th  (Science)

Wednesday, April 24, 2024- 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th (Math)
