Holliday High School, located in Holliday, Texas, has a distinguished history of academic and extracurricular excellence. Consistently earning high ratings from the Texas Education Agency, the school is committed to fostering student success across academics, athletics, and the arts.
The Holliday Eagles have secured multiple district and regional titles in football, basketball, and track and field. The school's Future Farmers of America (FFA) chapter has excelled in state competitions, highlighting students' dedication to agricultural education. The band has consistently performed at a high level, earning top placements at the UIL State Marching Contest. Likewise, the UIL Academic teams have achieved multiple state championships, showcasing the school's strong academic foundation.
Holliday High School has been honored with the prestigious UIL Lone Star Cup six times, recognizing its outstanding achievements in academics, athletics, and fine arts. In September 2024, the school won the Lone Star Cup for the 2023–2024 school year, marking its first victory in nearly two decades. As of January 2025, Holliday leads the 2024–2025 Lone Star Cup standings for Conference 3A, with strong performances in football, boys and girls cross country, and volleyball.
