Angela Miller
I grew up in Seymour, Texas and graduated in 2003. I attended Midwestern State University and graduated in 2008.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I am certified 8-12 composite science and 4-8 science.
I typically attend 24+ hours of continuing education in the field of science each summer. I regularly attend CAST – which is the conference for STAT (Science Teachers Association of Texas). I also have been to two NSTA (National Science Teacher’s Association) conferences.
This is my Lucky 13th year of teaching Science at Holliday High School. I will be teaching: Integrated Physics and Chemistry (IPC) (9th), Pre-AP Biology (9th) and Biology (10th). Besides educating students within the fields of science, I am also the UIL Science Coach, and junior class sponsor.
I was a Chemistry Student Assistant for Midwestern State University’s chemistry department.
I am married to Landon Miller. We have two sons: Cash (9) and Miles (2 1/2). Cash attends City View Elementary and Miles goes to Country Campus. I have a sweet yellow lab named Allie.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling around the world, cheering on students at all school activities, reading and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. I make birthday cards for each of my 100+ students, which is also quite fun for me as well.
