Special Education Teacher
I graduated from Burkburnett High School in 2003 and Midwestern State University in 2010.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Arts and Science from Midwestern State University and am certified to teach Special Education, early childhood through 6th grade, and ESL.
Holliday Elementary Grading Guidelines:
For all subjects there will be a minimum of ten grades.
When students are absent they will have the number of days they are absent to make up work. Example: if you are absent for three days, you have three days to make up your work.
A student shall be permitted a reasonable opportunity to redo an assignment or retake a test, may not include homework, for which the student received a failing grade. In most cases that will be during enrichment time in class the day it is returned or it may be sent home and due the next day. The grade recorded will be the average of the two grades, not to exceed 70.
Teachers will enter grades by Tuesday of each week to be accessible to parents online.
I started teaching in 2012 and this will be my 5th year here in Holliday!
I have been Married since 2006 to my husband Mark, and we have 3 boys. Payten is in 8th grade, Kasen is in 6th grade, and Cannen is in 2nd grade this year!
