Kimberly Strealy
I graduated from Holliday High School and Midwestern State University.
I have a BA in English with a minor in speech and journalism.
I hold both elementary and secondary teaching certificates. I have also been trained to teach MTA and RBD programs for dyslexia instruction.
I began teaching at Holliday in the 2003-2004 school year. This is currently my 20th year here. I taught 4th grade ELA for 15 years, and this is my 5th year in 7th grade ELA. I am also currently the middle school dyslexia coordinator and teach the Reading By Design program.
I began my teaching career at Archer City ISD in 1999. I taught high school speech and journalism. This included the newspaper, yearbook, and a broadcast class. One year I also taught 6-8 ELA.
I married my high school sweetheart, and we have three beautiful children. Our boys are currently attending Midwestern State University, and our daughter is a student in the high school.
I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, playing with my dog, riding my bike, and watching the Holliday Eagles. HERO!
