I attend the STEM Conference at Region 9 every year. I also attend the Conference for the Advancement of Science Teaching, which is offered annually as often as I can. Every summer, I attend various workshops at Region 9 related to different aspects of science teaching. I have completed the level 1 ASOT training. I have attended the Mitchell Institute Physics Enhancement Program at Texas A&M University.
I began teaching at Holliday High School in the Fall of 2001 and this is my 23rd year at Holliday. This year, I will be teaching Environmental Systems, Chemistry, Physics, and Dual Credit: Biology.
My prior teaching experience consists of running the computer lab at Olney Elementary School for a year and three years as a teaching assistant at Texas A&M University.
