Started at Holliday High School in 2018-2019

2022-2023 begins my 5^th year at Holliday High School and my 26^th year of teaching!

Currently teaching Algebra I, Algebra II, College Algebra

I began teaching in 1996 at Zundy Jr. High School in Wichita Falls, Texas.  After five years there, I transfered to Wichita Falls High School for one year.  I then decided to try teaching at a small school and landed a teaching position at Electra High School teaching Algebra I and English I.  After four years there, I had my sweet daughter, Sarah, and chose to take a couple years off to stay home with her.  In August of 2007, I went back to teaching and taught at Petrolia High School until 2018.  During my 25 years of teaching, I have taught all of the mathematics subjects, English, Accounting, and Speech.

I am married to Eli Rivers, who currently works for Iowa Park CISD.  We have one daughter, Sarah, who will be attending Sam Houston State University as a Freshman this year.  We have two dogs, Tiny, a Chihuahua mix and Bruno, a Cheagle, but we don’t talk about him! :)

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and daughter, attending plays at the Wichita and Backdoor Theatres, especially ones that my daughter is in, watching television (especially when the Texas Longhorns are playing!), reading, playing Candy Crush and Solitaire, working all kinds of puzzles, loving Jesus, and resting.
